MARINE LUBRICANTS

New and reformulated marine lubricants have been developed to meet the severe-service demands of the latest marine diesel engines and to give protection against the acidity that results from burning residual fuel. This review of marine lubricants is based on information solicited from major producers regarding the formulations and capabilities of the oils they now make available.
