DYNAMICS OF SHIP WITH A WELL IN A SEAWAY
An analysis is presented of the dynamic behavior of a ship that has a well and is oscillating in a seaway. The analysis is based on the original solution of the two-dimensional boundary problem for the case of the oscillation of the water column in the well. Resistance to the fundamental tone oscillations of the column is estimated, and can be important to ship dynamic analysis.
