SOLVING NOISE PROBLEMS IN THE MARINE INDUSTRY
This paper presents a summary of experience in the control of shipboard noise in commercial and military ships for the purpose of protecting crews from the harmful results of exposure to shipboard noise. Realistic airborne noise criteria have been established and the principal noise sources are identified. Treatment of the noise path is emphasized.
