FORECASTING CASH FLOW BY CONTRACTORS AND MONITORING INTEREST CHARGES
A simple approach is described which is based on an approximate graph of the value of work done against time, together with other salient information such as inward and outward payment delays, payment retention, arrangements etc. Practical implications are described as well as a special purpose system for private development. Information that the user is required to assemble is listed, and comments are made on the accuracy. Various aspects of interest on capital locked up in contracts and the effects of varying cash out delay etc. are listed and discussed.
