ACMAN--COORDINATE-BASED ACCURACY CONTROL SYSTEM FOR SHIP BLOCK ASSEMBLY
A new system developed in Finland for accuracy control in ship block assembly is described. The system, known as ACMAN, consists of software that utilizes a relational database model and runs on a PC workstation, and a new optical coordinate measuring device known as the ACMETER.
