CENTROMOR CELEBRATES 40TH ANNIVERSARY AT A MOMENTOUS TIME FOR POLAND

This issue of Shipping World and Shipbuilder is dedicated to celebrating the 40th anniversary of Poland's Centromor organization, now a joint stock company in which 51% is held by the government and 49% by seven major shipyards and related organizations. The issue reviews some of the current activities in Poland's shipbuilding and marine industries and where they stand in this turbulent period when rapid changes and developments are occurring with regard to joint ventures, internal legislation, and events in other European countries.
