SOVIET MERCHANT SHIPPING: SOME EUROPEAN ATTITUDES EXPLORED
The author looks at some of the views that have been expressed in Western Europe in recent years with regard to Soviet shipping and at the issues underlying these views. He focuses on liner shipping, the cruise market and the Soviet bilateral trades--three areas where there is interaction between Soviet and Western shipping companies and concerning which there has been considerable adverse comment from involved Western shipowners.
