CONDENSATION IN CONTAINERS
Condensation damage to containerized goods constitutes a problem of economics in addition to the physical problems of actually preventing condensation, say ICHCA (International Cargo Handling Coordination Association) in this report. The report gives case-histories of condensation problems in the carriage of certain commodities. Results of trial shipments are noted, and details given of certain other practices giving rise to an increased potential for condensation damage. The report also reviews many of the methods of prevention or protection which have been tried or recommended. The advantages and disadvantages of each are discussed. Describes what is believed to be the ultimate solution to the problem. (No further information in article).
