THE INFLUENCE OF THE RUDDER ON THE PROPULSIVE PERFORMANCE OF SHIPS, PART 2
Although the open literature does contain descriptions of several research projects dealing with the effect of the rudder on ship propulsive performance, the author finds that these projects were usually directed to one specific case. Because systematic information was therefore lacking, a series of tests was carried out for various propeller-rudder configurations. The discussion of the results--started in Part 1--is concluded.
