THE OPERATION OF SIGNALS TO RECHANNEL RIGHT-TURNING VEHICLES
The article is an extension of the work described by Al-Salman and Salter in Traffic Engineering and Control, 1974, July, volume 15, number 15. The author suggests that more research needs to be carried out on the junction design proposed by Al-Salman and Salter, particularly in relation to length of the links. It is concluded that the layout would be suitable only in a small number of places and would always have the disadvantage of being unfamiliar. See also IRRD abstract no. 211617. /TRRL/
