LIFERAFT SERVICING

SOLAS Convention regulations concerning the mandatory servicing of inflatable liferafts at prescribed intervals and regarding the qualifications of servicing stations are reviewed. The requirements and activities of these liferaft service stations are discussed. A number of photographs illustrate some of the tasks involved.
