AUTOMATIC TRAFFIC DATA SYSTEM FOR WEST SUSSEX COUNTY

Three alternative traffic data systems, designed to satisfy many of the requirements for traffic flow information within a county, are evaluated and the system adopted in West Sussex is described. An account is given of the equipment and methods used in the collection, analysis and data presentation stages of the system, together with some of the problems encountered. /Author/TRRL/
