EUREKA PROJECT FOR SHIPYARDS OF THE FUTURE
The European Interministerial Conference of Vienna has approved an applied research project to develop an automated and roboticized system for ship prefabrication. The operative program and objectives of the project, which will last more than five years, are very briefly described. The project will be known as FASP (Flexible Automation in Ship Prefabrication).
