THE RESURGENCE OF THE OCEAN LINER
After being battered for years by competition from the airlines, the cruise industry is riding a wave of prosperity. This article tells of how many of the old ocean liners have been updated with new propulsion machinery, state-of-the-art navigation equipment and automated engine rooms. A fleet of new vessels will soon leave the shipyards and some of these are mentioned and their features briefly described.
