THAT FLOATING ON AIR FEELING
Although it took years for the air bearing to gain acceptance, in a wheel-dominated world, as a means of moving heavy loads, it now has a multitude of installations and wide usage. It is explained how air bearings work and the range of available sizes, each designed to lift a maximum rated load at a given pressure, is discussed.
