ON THE KNOWLEDGE-BASED EXPERT SYSTEM FOR MARINE INSTRUMENTATION

The knowledge development process for an expert system that is useful to marine instrument designers is discussed, with emphasis on the capability of the system to provide guidance in the design of circuits for marine and oceanographic instruments.
