AN EFFICIENT TREND IN THE DEVELOPMENT OF FERROCONCRETE SHIPBUILDING

The technological substance of ferroconcrete shipbuilding places it between metal shipbuilding and the construction industry, and advances in industrial and civil construction and hydraulic engineering can be exploited to optimize the approach used. The cast-in-place construction method has been so improved that the ratio between the production of precast and cast-in-place structures has began to shift toward the latter. This article advocates use of the cast-in-place method in place of the traditional precasting techniques, explaining the advantages.
