QUALIFICATIONS FOR SHIPBUILDING
This paper considers the qualifications available to those who intend to work in and manage modern British shipyards and suggests a salary scale for the various stages in the management hierarchy. It also attempts to forecast the the pattern of shipbuilding and the work of a naval architect in the future.
