STANDARDIZATION OF ANCHORED RETAINING STRUCTURES

NORMALIZACAO DE ESTRUTURAS DE ARRIMO ANCORADAS

Developments in Anchorage systems for highway retaining walls in Brazil and in the world are discussed and some Brazilian examples are cited. The article also discusses the standardization of permanent Anchorage systems, those already adopted abroad, provisional Anchorage systems, and the proposed Brazilian standards. The paper is a development and a revision of a previous contribution by the authors (costa nunes and couto da fonseca, 1972). /TRRL/
