DESIGN OF CYLINDRICAL BULBS FOR FINE SHIP FORMS

The use of bulbous bows is an effective technique for reducing wave resistance. In this paper, the author discusses the parameters of bulb configuration and position, and describes a procedure for evaluating the effectiveness of a given bulb.
