THE RIBBED REFLEX-LINE, A NEW SYSTEM OF CARRIAGEWAY MARKING
DE RIBBELREFLEX-LIJN, EEN NIEUW WEGMARKERINGSSYSTEEM
A new system of carriageway marking in which a ribbed- reflexion line above the surface is used, is described. The advantage of this system is that during periods of rain retro-reflection is still possible. It also has an acoustic effect when a vehicle crosses the line. Glare is also reduced, providing greater safety. /TRRL/
