THE OPERATION "PORTE DU LANGUEDOC"
L'OPERATION "PORTE DU LANGUEDOC"
While waiting for the opening to traffic in 1973 of the Orange-Nimes section of the A9 motorway, diversion itineraries were set up between Pont-St-Esprit and Remoulins with the completely automatic control of signs and signals. This article describes the system used, the operation of the equipment, and presents a theoritical and practical justification of the results obtained. /TRRL/
