Experimental safety vehicles exhibited at TRRL, Crowthorne, Berkshire, for the 5th International ESV Conference, 4-9th June, 1974, are illustrated and briefly described. Special attention is paid to the Italian contributions, and the development of ESV research by Fiat, from 1971 to the present, is summarised. /TRRL/
