NON-FERROUS ALLOYS FOR MARINE APPLICATIONS
Various factors affect the corrosion of metals such as pitting or impingement, and the water velocity and temperature where these attacks occur. The corrosion behavior of several different alloys in seawater, alloy composition, average corrosion rate, and other corrosion rate information, are described as well as applications of the various alloys and recent developments in cupro-nickel compositions.
