CONSIDERATION ON RESULTS OF ITTC COOPERATIVE EXPERIMENTS CONCERNING SCALE EFFECT ON WAVE PATTERN RESISTANCE
Scale effects and the accuracy of the longitudinal-cut wave analysis technique are discussed in relation to wave- and wave pattern- resistance. Using geosims of the Series 60 hull, standard and additional ITTC cooperative experiments were conducted by nine organizations in Japan. Various resistance components and their trends are surveyed, as obtained through measurements and analyses.
