MODELLING MATERIAL RESISTANCE IN PROBABILISTIC FRACTURE MECHANICS
In a probabilistic analysis of fracture mechanics, random variables must represent material resistance to fatigue and fracture. The purpose of this paper is to demonstrate how to obtain reasonable distributions for these random variables.
