STUDIES ON POLYSTYRENE IMPREGNATED CEMENT MORTAR AND CONCRETE
The results are given of a study of the effects of polystyrene impregnation on the properties of cement mortar and concrete over a range of mixes. The thermal-catalytic method of polymerisation was adopted in view of its simplicity. The results of tests for compressive strength, flexural strength, tensile strength, water absorption, and chemical resistance are reported in this paper. /TRRL/
