GRAPHIC SOLUTION OF A BENDING AND BUCKLING PROBLEM
SOLUCION GRAFICA DE UN PROBLEMA DE FLEXION Y PANDED
A simple graph is presented for solving a problem of elastic buckling combined with bending involving a thin member. The problem resides in movements at the extremities of the member and in applied axial stress. The graph enables the location and value of the maximum bending moment to be obtained. An analytical study of this graphic method is appended. /TRRL/
