ANALYSIS OF NONSTEADY SEEPAGE FLOW BY FINITE ELEMENT METHOD
Several recent studies of seepage flow analysis by the finite element method are reviewed, but all these studies are restricted to steady flow. This paper describes an analytical method of studying non-steady seepage flow, in which the principle of variation is applied to equations of motion and continuity of seepage flow and which takes account of the phreatic water level. Examples of numerical solutions are appended. /TRRL/
