SCIENTIFIC AND TECHNICAL INFORMATION IN THE RIVER FLEETS

This report describes the organization and work of the Soviet Central Bureau for Scientific and Technical Information of the Ministry for River Fleets. Topics discussed include the dissemination of scientific and technical information to the merchant fleet; publication of technical literature; methods of handling requests for information; and the publicizing of new methods and technology in river transport.
