ESTIMATING THE AGE DISTRIBUTION OF CARS IN NORTHERN IRELAND

A survey to discover the age distribution of cars in a large licensing authority was undertaken. The results of this survey are given in the paper. The authority was treated as a sample of the north of Ireland and the results of the survey applied to this area. Forecasts are made of the future age distribution and conclusions drawn from these calculations. /Author/TRRL/
