TRAFFIC MOVEMENTS AND PARKING REQUIREMENTS AT COASTAL MARINAS
Following previous surveys on the traffic and parking requirements of coastal marinas, it was concluded that more extensive surveys were required. This article describes long-term surveys that were carried out in 1973 to obtain relationships between the number of berths, boat movements, traffic flows and cars parked. Methods to estimate the peak traffic flows and the degree of use of parking facilities throughout the year are given. /Author/TRRL/
