EVACUATION AND SURVIVAL FROM OFFSHORE DRILLING AND PRODUCTION UNITS IN THE BERING, CHUKCHI, AND BEAUFORT SEAS
The objective of this study was to develop information on the options for personnel evacuation from drilling rigs and production platforms in the offshore waters of the Bering, Chukchi, and Beaufort Seas. Topics covered include: expected levels of exploration and development activity; environmental conditions in the region; survival requirements, including search and rescue time; and evaluation of survival equipment and systems.
