CHOICE OF THE MODE OF EXCITATION IN DYNAMIC STUDIES OF NON-SPRINGING MASSES
Various modes of excitation originating from the wheel or from the rail are investigated by means of a vibration model of non-springing masses of a coach with lateral V-belt drive for the power supply unit. A comparison of theoretical and experimental results obtained by an analog computer, or in a rolling test stand, serves to recommend certain modes of excitation for studying vibration processes of the model described.
