HITACHI CANNED-TYPE SUBMERSIBLE MOTORS
Canned-type motors have been added as a new series to Hitachi's standard submersible motors. As the electrical parts are enclosed in a welded construction, the canned-type motor differs in characteristics as well as construction from conventional submersible motors. These differences are introduced with emphasis on insulation structure, while major considerations in maintenance are discussed.
