TRAFFIC MEDICINE AS A PART OF SOCIAL MEDICINE AND PUBLIC HEALTH
Highly relevant epidemiological data as well as numbers of accidents, fatalaties, age dependencies, and other relevant factors are presented. It is stated that traffic medicine belongs to the domain of preventive medicine and should be treated along the same lines, with the same semantics and the same methodology.
