DRUGS AND ROAD TRAFFIC
SUCHTGIFTE UND STRASSENVERKEHR
The use of drugs in relation to motorists clearly varies from country to country. Fines and sentences do little to restrict the danger. A thorough survey of different kinds of drugs, such as marihuana, other hallucinogens, stimulants and opiates is presented. The social and medical aspects of the use of drugs, the detection of drugs and the legislation to the use of drugs in different European countries are mentioned. It is stated that the increasing use of drugs in particular by young people influences driving aptitude. The covering abstract for the conference is IRRD no - 211714 /TRRL/
