STABILITY OF SLOPES IN ANISTROPIC SOILS
The different types of anisotropic strength properties are evaluated. A method is developed to account for the variation of undrained strength with direction of applied stresses in stability analysis. Rigorous solutions have been obtained for two special cases and the stability numbers are presented in graphical form.
