A SURVEY OF CURRENT STATUS AND TRENDS IN TRANSPORTATION AND LOGISTICS EDUCATION

This article reports on an extensive survey of the enrollment status and trends in transportation and logistics education. While surveys and reports of expert opinion frequently appear, few provide definitive market information that might help guide the preparation of educational materials and the development of curricula. The survey covered current student enrollments, trends in transportation and logistics courses offered over the previous five years and the characteristics of institutions and departments offering these courses.
