METHOD OF LAND SEISMIC EXPLORATION USING FLEXIBLE TUBES
A few hundred feet of flexible tubing about 1/2-inch diameter is buried 6-30 inches in the ground at each source and receiver station with the help of a vibratory plow on the back of a vehicle. The tubing is filled with a fluid explosive and either a detonator or a hydrophone is placed at one end of each segment of buried tubing so it can be used as a seismic source or a receiver. /Patent Abstract/
