1974 RAIL TRANSPORTATION PROCEEDINGS

This publication incorporates the 19 papers presented at the Joint ASME/IEEE Railroad Conference in Pittsburgh April 3-4, 1974 and at the Winter Annual Meeting of the ASME in Detroit, November 11-15, 1973. Formal discussions of the papers are also included. While most of the papers deal with the design of rolling stock and rolling stock components and with track-train dynamics, two papers cover proposed advanced urban transportation system and heat in subways. All these papers are entered individually in the RRIS system.
