HOBART TRAMWAYS: A CENTENARY COMMEMORATION REVIEW

This book was published to commemorate the centenary of the inauguration of the electric tramway in Hobart, Tasmania, on 21 September 1893. The Hobart system was the first successful electric tramway network in the southern hemisphere. The book gives a history of the various tram lines in Hobart and also discusses the vehicles and facilities. It includes a comprehensive collection of photographs.
