RAMDOM DRUG TESTING MANUAL
The manual gives information gathered and analyzed in support of the Urban Mass Transportation Administration's effort to develop practical guidelines for the U.S transit operators in implementing anti-drug policies and programs. The guidelines are designed to assist the mass transit industry to achieve a drug free transit workforce to protect the health and safety of workers and the public. Designed for transit agencies that are implementing, or considering implementing, random drug testing programs, the manual is also useful for transit agenices that already have a random testing program and want to make the program more effective and efficient. The organization of the manual is based on key steps that should be taken to establish and operate a random drug testing program. Each step is discussed in a separate chapter.
