A NEW INTERFACING CONCEPT: THE MONOLITHIC TEMPERATURE TRANSDUCER
A monolithic integrated circuit has been developed that is a sensor, a voltage reference, and an operational amplifier, all in a simple four-lead package. Although the circuit is designed to sense absolute temperature as a physical parameter, certain application techniques allow other inputs to be handled. Differential temperature, position, and air velocity can be converted to analog, on-off, or frequency outputs as desired. Specific examples are provided. /GMRL/
