INFLUENCE OF VEHICLE CHARACTERISTICS ON TRANSPORT
INCIDENCIA DE LAS CARACTERISTICAS DE LOS VEHICULOS EN EL TRANSPORTE
It is logical to think that the use of larger-capacity vehicles would lead to a reduction in journey cost per tonne/kilometer. Attention is drawn to the harmful effects of heavier vehicles on traffic and the pavement structure. Therefore a correct balance should be reached between heavy and light vehicle traffic with a view to obtaining a higher level of service. The number of the covering abstract of the symposium is IRRD Abstract No. 100881. /TRRL/
