A study is made of the effect of excess load on the life time of the heavy vehicle components vital to the safety of those vehicles. Attention is drawn to the urgent need of drawing up measures for enforcing legal axle load limits. the number of the covering abstract of the symposium is IRRD Abstract No. 100881. /TRRL/
