SIDE IMPACT ON THE SHOULDER. A MULTI-DISCIPLINARY STUDY
The approach to the study of human tolerance to impact is difficult. Simultaneous contributions from complementary disciplines are required along with the collation of epidemiological and typological data and data from experimental research on cadavers, which combines anatomy, biomechanics, physical measurements and information technology. This paper examines the multi-disciplinary methodology within the framework of a general study of the tolerance of the human shoulder to lateral impact.
