SAFETY COEFFICIENTS FOR A FAILURE OF CROSS SECTION ACCORDING TO THE REGULATION FOR CONCRETE AND REINFORCED CONCRETE FROM 1987
KOEFICIJENTI SIGURNOSTI NA LOM PRESEKA PREMA PBAB '87
The article presents a possibility of analyzing limit bearing capacity of reinforced concrete sections by means of the total safety coefficient for four basic types of loads. It suggests criteria for the control of limit bearing capacity of a section taking into account favourable loads in a structure. Use of the total safety coefficient facilitates design of a section and controls its limit bearing capacity, in accordance with the Yugoslav code for concrete and reinforced concrete.
