WELSH AFFAIRS COMMITTEE FIRST REPORT. ROADS IN WALES. REPORT TOGETHER WITH THE PROCEEDINGS OF THE COMMITTEE, MINUTES OF EVIDENCE AND APPENDICES

This report aims to consider the priorities on which the Welsh Office bases its plans for the strategic road network in Wales and whether the programme of road development contained in "Roads in Wales: programmes and plans for the 1990s" and in the 1991 Supplement represent a comprehensive and co-ordinated strategy to implement those proposals. The report is presented in the following sections: capital expenditure; plans for the strategic road network; road safety; structural renewal and road maintenance; bridges and Transport grant.
