RULES OF CONDUCT FOR PEDESTRIANS AND MOTORISTS ON OR NEAR ZEBRA CROSSINGS
WETTELIJKE REGELS BETREFFENDE HET GEDRAG VAN VOETGANGERS EN VOERTUIGBESTUURDERS OP EN NABIJ VOP'S
Starting from the supposition that legal (behaviour) rules influence the behaviour of the pedestrian as well as the driver in a certain way, it is useful to know the regulations which are in force in different countries. Therefore a review is made of all legal provisions for pedestrians and drivers on and near zebra crossings in all west-european countries and the usa. The differences and similarities between these countries are tabulated. See also IRRD abstract no.210787. /TRRL/
